The Recovery and Reuse Committee has contacted a Steinway Piano expert to help PCC consider the future use of this remarkable instrument, which has graced our sanctuary stage and blessed us with rich tones over the years. No decisions will be made about whether to keep and store the piano or sell it until we receive this professional input. A key part of the decision will be the cost of storing the piano in a climate-controlled environment for the three or so years that it might take to build a new worship center home for it. Such a piano is worth several thousand dollars, so this is an important decision that PCC will take seriously.
