Preserving and Selling Some Handbells and Chimes

(May 19, 2026) Longtime PCC members and friends will remember a day when our church choir included a bell choir. Over the decades, we have collected a remarkable (and valuable) collection of bells and chimes. Our choir is making plans to revive a version of the bell choir, so The Recovery and Reuse Committee recommended, and the Church Council agreed, to preserve some bells and chimes and offer others for reuse.

The Reuse and Recovery Committee decided to keep two octaves of the bells and one case of the chimes for future choir use. That means we will offer for sale seven cases of bells and two cases of chimes.

This is a high-quality, church-maintained collection of premium Schulmerich bronze handbells (in original padded cases) plus Suzuki and Malmark aluminium handchimes.

The handbells include valuable low-bass extensions and multiple chromatic octave/extension sets suitable for 4–6 octave handbell choirs. All pieces appear in good used condition with polished bells and functional cases.
