To our Church and Preschool Family:
I have some truly extraordinary news to share with you today.
The Family of Garner and Connie Koons has generously donated $2 million to Pasadena Community Church. Their incredible gift will fully fund the construction of our new Preschool at the Life Enrichment Center (LEC).
This means we can move forward immediately with construction planning—no longer needing to wait for the delayed sale of church property to fund the renovation. And once that sale closes, the proceeds can now be directed toward other much-needed repairs and updates that will renew and revitalize our entire campus.
This gift is not just an investment in a building—it’s a powerful affirmation of Pasadena Community Church’s future and a direct response to the vision you’ve shared. In our recent small group meetings, many of you expressed a desire for PCC to invest boldly in our children and youth. That future begins now.
Our construction partner, Churches by Daniels, anticipates that the new preschool will be ready in time for the start of the school year in fall 2026.
Words like “thank you” feel too small at a moment like this. So instead, I ask each of you to pray—pray for Garner and Connie Koons, that God would bless them richly for their faith and leadership. And pray also for our church leaders, that we may be guided by wisdom, vision, and the love of Christ as we take these next exciting steps.
