(August 26, 2024) The Planners Advisory Committee meeting for Pinellas Forward unanimously approved Onyx+East and Pasadena Community Church’s request for a zoning change to allow the developer to build single-family and townhomes on two parcels currently owned by the church.
The Advisory Committee staff determined:
Pinellas Forward’s main interest is as “a land use and transportation planning agency. They guide integrated transportation and land use solutions that sustain economic value by connecting the communities of Pinellas County and the Tampa Bay region.”
Generally, the Pinellas Forward committee is a vehicle that connects Pinellas County’s 25 local governments to adapt the county’s land use plan.

September 11th: The Forward Pinellas Board votes
October 15th: The Pinellas County Commission votes (acting as the countywide Planning Authority)
