Meet the members of the PCC Building Committee

Scott Russell is the chair of the Building Committee. Scott is a Certified Financial Planner and has over 25 years in the financial services industry, primarily at the institutional level of a Broker Dealer and Registered Investment Adviser. His corporate experience includes managing M&A activity, operations, corporate culture, and serving on investment committees. Scott now serves families and business owners by providing financial planning advice.

Paul Gifford-Paul is the owner of Gulf Coast Property Acquisition Group, Inc. and has extensive experience in building renovation and construction. He has a Masters Degree in Industrial Management. Paul was a member of the Long-Range Planning committee.

Angie Hadley began her journey at PCC as teenager. In 2005, she started working at the preschool as teacher in 2000. In 2005 Angie became director of the preschool and got our part-time Christian playgroup licensed. In the summer of 2008, she launched the first small elementary camp. In 2010 she started an elementary aftercare and got that licensed. In 2010 Angie became the Children’s Director for the church and got our Christian playgroup on a separate license, and was the director of that program as well. Then in the summer of 2021 Angie started a middle school camp, and with us growing in aftercare she had to open another summer camp. We now have 3 elementary and 1 middle school camp. Angie’s deep knowledge of childcare and preschool administration makes her invaluable to the team since the preschool is dear to PCC’s mission.

Al Johnson has extensive knowledge of design engineering and worked for General Electric for 35 years. He is a licensed engineer. Al is the former Mayor of St. Pete Beach and is a longtime member of Pasadena Community Church and has a long record of civic service in the Tampa Bay region.

Joe Borgia worked for the NBA for 33 years. He was a referee for the first 10 years and went into management following an injury. Joe worked at various positions in those 23 years and was SVP of Referee and Replay operations when he retired May 30, 2022.
The Borgia family came to Pasadena Community Church 30 years ago because of the preschool and soon joined. Joe says, “Not only did our two children attend the preschool, but our grandson currently attends. Previously, I have served on the Finance Committee, helped start and run the Basketball League, and currently help with the food pantry and hospitality.

Victoria Hale is from Pennsylvania where she worked in the construction industry for 26 years as a purchasing agent. Her focus was on commercial construction projects, which included buying systems and equipment for hospitals, colleges, schools and pharmaceutical companies. Her skills included estimates, bidding, and negotiating prices with vendors for renovations and new construction. Vicki is a member of the Church Council and also serves with the Hospitality Ministry, Pack a Snack, and Angel Outreach Program. She and her husband have lived in the St. Petersburg area for over 11 years.

Robb Bauman He is President of Poseidon Adventures Development Group that builds and develops custom homes. He was in the automotive repair and distribution of General Motors Parts & Accessories business for 40 years in St Petersburg and across the state of Florida. He sold the business in 2010. Robb has been a member of PCC for 30 years and has served on every committee in the church. Robb chairs the Foundation Trust committee, which manages financial gifts that pay for church maintenance.

Al Tompkins is a non-voting member of the committee whoresponsible to report committee decisions, plans, and progress to the congregation.
Al is a longtime journalist, writer and teacher and is married to former Associate pastor Rev. Sidney Tompkins.

KC Jones- Chair of the Board of Trustees. KC is one of Tampa Bay’s most respected realtors with deep knowledge of the local real estate sales market. KC has volunteered her expertise for PCC many times in the past and served on the Long Range Planning Committee.

Gary Butler is an attorney who has been in private practice for more than 20 years. In 2012, he started his own solo firm, Gary L. Butler, PA.
Gary has been deeply involved in all levels of Pasadena’s ministries, including youth and young adult leadership as well as committee work.
